About Amanda:

Amanda immediately felt a connection to yoga when she experienced her first Hatha Yoga class in Athens, GA. Growing up as a dancer, yoga reconnected her to movement in a beautiful sacred way that explored breath, compassion, and mindfulness. Over the last 18 years she has been cultivating her passion for yoga: practicing, learning, and sharing.
She seeks to create a safe, sacred, and loving space in her classes and is known to spend too much time making yoga playlists, exploring music, and sacred sounds.
Amanda has a BS in Psychology & Cultural Anthropology and received her 200 RYT certification at the Asheville Yoga Center where she is also currently training for her 500 RYT advanced studies certification. She hopes that you leave her class refreshed, inspired, and feeling connection with body, breath and heart.

De-Stress, Flow and Restore:
Wednesdays from 5:45-7pm
$10 drop in

The focus of this class begins with connecting to the breath and calming mind and body. Tools for mindfulness are offered throughout the class to help keep you present and focused. As breath and movement begin to synch, the flow ranges from gentle and increases in energy as dynamic asana (poses) and intuitive movement is offered. Pranayama (breath techniques) are intermixed throughout the class offering a heating, cooling or meditative experience. The class will wind down with several restorative poses (to destress and help with flexibility), guided relaxations (to soothe), prayers (for love), and savasana (final rest).


Flow and Yin:
Thursdays from 9-10:15am
$10 drop in

This class begins slowly, bringing awareness to the breath, heart-space, and body, encouraging intuitive movement.

We then explore heat building poses (flow and static) and practice Pranayama to help build strength, balance, and concentration.

Ending with Yin Yoga poses, we assimilate the benefits and create flexibility of the body and mind through releasing deeply stored tension of the connective tissue. Often ends with a guided relaxation during Savasana to send you floating into the rest of your day.
